We've been here in New Jersey for about 3 years now and it's finally starting to feel like home. The transition from West Coast to East Coast has taken some time to get used to but I do love the milder summers and the "real" fall that we get here though. I also love being so close to so many big cities, historic sites and other fun stuff. We're still working on the house, things are going a little slower than I had hoped, but we're making progress.
We've been getting serious about our homeschooling and the kids are both doing really well. With Magnus we're focusing on math and learning to read and write but we're also doing lots of other fun science, geography and history activities. Cambria enjoys doing most of these things with him and is picking up a lot.
Cerys Cate was born August 26th at 1:16 am. She weighed 9 lbs 7 oz and was 21 3/4 inches. We had another wonderful home birth. Labor lasted about 12 hours, but was pretty easy until the very end. The transition from two kids to three has been ridiculously easy. I spent lots of anxious days during the pregnancy wondering how I'd be able to handle the needs of all three. Cerys fits in so well and Magnus and Cambria just adore her. So far we haven't experienced any of the jelousy that I was afraid of and I'm actually getting plenty of sleep.
5 hours into labor
Just after birth
1:30 am - Cambria and Magnus got up to see their new sister
I am glad I found you!
